In the fall of 2022, I created this informative illustration focused on the fascinating world of emperor penguins. My goal was to highlight the remarkable characteristics of these birds, particularly their protective nature towards their families. To make the illustration engaging for young readers, I incorporated various textures, such as the softness of their feathers and the crispness of the snow. This not only added visual interest but also aimed to create a sensory experience that would help children connect with the penguins and understand their environment better.
