MERMAID

I illustrated Mermaid for the 2024 MerMay challenge. My goal was to capture the essence of the ocean while incorporating the vibrant and tranquil vibes of the Mediterranean. The scene depicts a mermaid encountering a crab for the first time. With rich colours, shimmering water, and a backdrop of vintage column structures, I aimed to evoke the enchanting atmosphere of Mediterranean shores.
