GALLERY CRAWL

I created this poster for the 2024 OCAD U Gallery Crawl, an event organized by the Ignite Gallery at OCAD U, where students get to explore five exhibition venues on a guided tour.

My goal for this illustration was to capture the essence of a gallery exhibition inspired by the Ignite Gallery space, reflecting the vibe of modern contemporary art and the daily campus life. I chose a limited color palette of yellow, white, and black to emphasize the inviting atmosphere while still adding a pop of color.

This poster was designed for display on campus walls, for sharing on Instagram, and to serve as a banner in the OCAD U newsletter. I made the necessary tweaks to ensure the design would work seamlessly across various formats.

Additionally, I crafted a digital tour guide booklet for the event that follows the same theme and color scheme, adapting the illustration for both the front and back covers. To further tie into the theme of "crawling," I incorporated little footprints throughout the booklet, highlighting the walking experience of the gallery tour.
